ABOUT HELLO VINTAGE
Vintage is fun.

It all started in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Sherry McEwen opened Last Temptation Vintage (then Last Temptation Thrift) in Banff, AB, an eclectic shop full of character and treasures. Ashley Witts worked there, and the two quickly realized they shared the same love for vintage fashion, good vibes, and building something special.

In 2014, Sherry and Ash joined forces and opened Hello Vintage in Canmore, AB. Life in the mountains was good. The shop was full of colour, cool finds, and Kristin Arney ~our ride-or-die manager~ who took the reins and made Hello Vintage Canmore truly thrive.

Fast forward to 2023, and the duo found the perfect little spot in the heart of Inglewood, Calgary. Hello Vintage Inglewood opened its doors, bringing our street-forward, easygoing vintage style to the city. Shauna Gregory and Bailey Blondeau now run the show there (absolute legends), while Sherry and Ash continue picking and sourcing the best for all shops: hitting up rag houses and vintage spots far and wide.

As the racks filled up, we noticed something: we had a LOT of dreamy, dressier pieces that didn’t quite fit the laid-back vibe of Hello Vintage. So in February 2025, we opened our sparkly sister store right upstairs in Inglewood: Crybaby Vintage Dress Shop. Think party dresses, prom gowns, bridal wear, and all things fancy. Rose Gregory now leads the Crybaby crew, helping Calgary’s glam set find their moment.

We couldn’t do any of this without our whole HV fam—Kristin still holds it down in Canmore, the Inglewood dream team (shoutout to Gabe!), and all our incredible staff who keep the vintage magic alive.

We believe vintage should be fun, inclusive, and a little wild. Come play dress-up!
